Cedar Hat Shop - Return Policy

At Cedar Hat Shop, we take pride in crafting high-quality, custom laser-engraved patch hats just for you. As each hat is personalized based on your specific design and preferences, we have a return policy that reflects the unique nature of our products.

Custom Laser Engraved Items:

Due to the personalized nature of our custom laser-engraved patch hats, we generally do not accept returns or offer refunds unless one of the following conditions is met:

  • Manufacturing Defect: If your hat has a defect in the base product (e.g. damaged brim) that is not related to the laser engraving process, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will require clear photographic evidence of the defect to assess the issue and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a repair or a replacement of the hat blank.
  • Error in Engraving: If the laser engraving on your hat does not match the design or text you approved during the order process, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Please provide clear photographic evidence of the discrepancy. We will review your original order and, if the error is on our part, we will gladly produce and ship a corrected replacement hat at no additional cost to you.

Non-Custom Items (if applicable):

If Cedar Hat Shop offers any non-custom, pre-designed hats or accessories, the following return policy applies to those items only:

  • You may return non-custom items in their original, unworn, and unwashed condition with all original tags attached within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange.
  • Return shipping costs for non-custom items are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect on the non-custom item.

Process for Returns/Issues:

To initiate a return or report an issue with your order, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at cedarhatshop@gmail.com with your order number, a detailed explanation of the issue, and clear photographic evidence if applicable.
  2. Review and Assessment: Our team will review your request and assess the situation based on our return policy.
  3. Resolution: We will communicate our decision and the next steps to you within 2-3 business days. If a return or replacement is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to proceed.

Important Notes:

  • Please double-check your design, text, and hat style selections carefully before submitting your order. We are not responsible for errors in customer-submitted information.
  • Variations in patch grain or slight inconsistencies in laser engraving depth and appearance are inherent to the custom process and are not considered defects.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
